The Independent photographer offer a monthly competition open to all photographers. We invite both amateur and established artists to share their work in order to promote the very best contemporary photography from all cultures around the world.

Each month winners and finalists are rewarded with prizes and exposure. At the end of the year, images are printed and published in The Independent Photographer book of the year, and the winners are presented in our annual exhibition in Berlin.
