Mountain Sunrise Reflections BY Andrea Wafler
Our First Place Winner was submitted by
Andrea Wafler from Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia, Canada
My name is Andrea Wafler, I am 29 years old and I live in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. I specialize in capturing portraits of dogs in unique and stunning landscapes. I have always been drawn to photographing nature and my first interest in photography started with landscapes and the world around me. Being an animal lover has always been a part of who I am so I naturally gravitated towards photographing animals and, more specifically, dogs. It was when I combined my two passions of landscape and dog portrait photography that I realized I found my niche. I hope to keep creating images of dogs in landscapes long into the future!

Dancing silhouettes By Annemarie Jung
Our Third Place Winner was submitted by
Annemarie Jung from Canach, Luxembourg
Annemarie Jung from Canach, Luxembourg
Annemarie Jung, a self-taught photographer, discovered her passion for photography and art later in life, embarking on a profound journey of self-expression. After spending over 25 years in management positions in the commercial world, Annemarie dedicated her free time to photography and various art forms, surprising herself by unearthing a previously untapped creative side.
Since she started producing work in 2021, Annemarie has won many prestigious awards, is exhibiting internationally and locally, and has been published in photo magazines.
Her focus is on the human element with a suggestive (and sometimes provocative) approach. Her inspiration stems from a natural curiosity and drive for transforming her ideas into art. Storytelling and personal connection are the artistic pillars of Annemarie’s work.

Misty Sunrise by Teju Khubchandani
Our Honorable Mention Winner was submitted by
Teju Khubchandani from San Jose, California
I am an engineer who wants to be a photographer, a photographer who wants to be an artist. I have shipped products with some of the best and brightest people that I have ever met. And I have seen amazing photographers at work and learned a lot from them as well.
So, what does that make me?
Not much of anything, but someone that appreciates great engineering, great art and the dedication that is needed to do either. From time to time, I get to experience how a perfectly engineered design feels just like a piece of amazing art.
