What are the size requirements for my submissions?
All submission will be in jpg format, should be appx 1200x900 and no larger than 1 Mb.

Do you display all of the Contest Submissions as the are entered?
No we do not, only after all of the entries have been submitted and the judging completed we display the winners and shortlist of finalists.

What are the age limits?
You must be 18 years old to enter any of our contests.

Why is there a monthly Awards Cap?
We set a limit to maintain the quality of our submission review processes, this number is based upon our current staffing and technology and will continue to grow over time.

How much are the Cash Awards?
The more Photographers the greater the competition and the larger the prize. Cash Awards are directly related to how competitive the Theme is and how many entries it receives, the more contestants there are in a Competition Theme the larger the payout prizes will be.

1st Place - Receives 25% of all entry fees in the Theme
2nd Place - Receives 15% of all entry fees in the Theme
3rd Place - Receives 10% of all entry fees in the Theme

Do you have entry fees?
Yes, they are posted with each months competition overview.

Are there specific naming requirements?
Please name your files in the format of the following example.

Your Name: Jim Smith
Image Name: Sunburst Sunrise
Submission File would be - Jim Smith - Sunburst Sunrise

Are watermarks allowed?
No watermarks of any kind can be placed on the submissions.

Who will own the rights to the photographs submitted to your competitions?
You retain the copyright of your work. Submissions will only be used for the sole purpose of judging and promoting the competition.

Can I modify photos that have already been submitted?
No, once an entry fee has been paid and the images have been uploaded it is not possible to modify or remove it.

How are the entries judged?
All entries will be judged "in the blind" by some of the most creative photographers on the planet! In the blind means that they do not know who the photographer is or the name of the image. All submissions are rated on the basis of creativity, composition, technical ability, originality, interpretation of the theme.

Is there a time limit on when the photo has been taken?
There are no time limits except when outlined in a specific competition outline/prospectus.

Can my images be manipulated or are there specific limits?
You can use any post processing technique you like except when outlined in a specific competition outline/prospectus. It is your work and personal inspiration we love to see!

AI images or parts of them worked into a photograph are not allowed.

Is my credit card information secure?
Yes! All embedded payment forms are hosted on our secure payment processor’s site on SSL servers that are both BAA (HIPAA) and PCI (DSS) level 1 compliant.

Your credit card data is never transmitted, processed, or stored by any website or the secure forms. All sensitive transaction data is transmitted directly from your browser for secure processing.

How will prizes be awarded?
All cash awards will be paid via PayPal.
