My passion for photography has been with me since I was a child and I have always found it very interesting to be able to portray and immortalize the unique moments that nature offers us.
In 2017 I could finally buy my first digital reflex camera and since then I have not stopped learning and perfecting myself in this beautiful art being able to combine my passion for photography and nature, until now I have not stopped documenting myself in an autodidactic way learning to understand light and perfecting my technique in the use of the camera as well as in the subsequent digital edition of my images which for me is something fundamental.

Faces BY Wojciech Kruczynski
Our Second Place Winner was submitted by
Wojciech Kruczynski from Piastow, Poland
I am an amateur landscape photographer from Poland, also known as Swen Stroop. My favorite places to take my pictures is Iceland, Scotland and Norway (especially the Hebrides and Lofoten Islands). I always spend my vacations in these locations, on feet with backpack or on my bicycle, struggling with rain, cold wind and ugly midges. I can't imagine something more beautiful and pleasant than this.

Old Time Colors by Chris Jackson
Our Honorable Mention Winner was submitted by
Chris Jackson from Staunton, Virginia
I reside in the beautiful state of Virginia. I look at photography as a way to express my personality. I don't think of just snapping photos with high tech gear; for me it’s creating memories through a form of art and expression. The thing I like most about photography is capturing the moment; nothing like having a stunning landscape or subject before you, freezing it in time, and having a memory to last. The spark that pushes a photographer to create, is deeply rooted in my soul. I have been blessed to have an artistic eye, with that it is a passionate burning fire.
