From a casual unplanned capture, to all out-storm chasing, the weather can affect the mood of an image more than anything else. Uncontrollable wind, clouds and rain, the beautiful powerful elements of life and nature are the subject or backdrop of many of the most amazing images ever captured. Even a hint of that power or just a mild touch of it during a light afternoon shower, has a very dramatic effect on our worlds natural light, a light that only nature can produce!

Norwegian. In my photography I am always trying to capture the fleeting moments in nature. I aim to not limit myself too much to any particular style of nature photography. I always try to develop and experiment with new techniques and ideas, be it in the field or in post processing. However the search for unique compositions and scenes is what I will always find the most creatively challenging.

I am a nature photographer - I mainly shoot landscapes, animals and plants.
My goal is to make moody moments last. Colorful sunsets, magical fog moods and the nature in the change of the seasons belong to the highlights in photography for me.
I live in southern Germany on the beautiful Lake Constance, where I have some excellent fotospots right outside the front door. The German, Austrian and Swiss Alps are not far away either. But I also like traveling to more distant destinations around the world.
