I first got involved in photography in 2005 and since then I have kept on evolving my techniques and knowledge, through a series of valuable experiences, by visiting several places on the planet like the Arctic, Africa, Asia, America, and Europe, capturing impressive sights with a different perspective.
Nature photography is love, passion, exploration, adventure, and creation. I always look for dramatic action and I feel alive in every sense when I experience the greatness of natural elements. I live my life traveling to every possible destination, searching for days on end for instantaneous, breathless scenes.
WILDLIFE, LANDSCAPE, AND TRIBES COMPOSE MY WORK!
The key behind great photography is hidden in the huge variety of landscapes, wildlife, and cultures as well as in the incredible wonders that emerge through the endless, magnificent power of nature. Photography is not only setting the limits of an instant shooting at the place of the main action, but also the printing and presentation in the gallery where nature comes to life in front of the public eye.

Lagh da Saoseo By Judith Kuhn
Our Second Place Winner was submitted by
Judith Kuhn from Immenstaad, Germany
I would like to call myself an “ambitious amateur photographer”. My main focus is nature and landscape photography, but I also like to make detours to other genres.
Everything I know about photography is self-educated. A few books here, some internet research there, inspiration from the works of other photographers and a lot, really a lot of trying things out has brought me to where I am today.
My great happiness is my home on beautiful Lake Constance, where I have a lot of photo spots right on my doorstep and the way to the Austrian, Swiss and Italian Alps is not too far. I also love to travel to more exotic destinations on my vacation, with the north being particularly appealing to me.

Dreizinnenhutte By Tomasz Rojek
Our Honorable Mention Winner was submitted by
Tomasz Rojek from Rudy, Poland
I was born in the mid-seventies and I am from Poland. My adventure with photography begins with a passion for travel. Many years ago, while still in college, I began to see the beauty of the world around us, its various corners, those close and those in distant countries. This led me to visit many places both in Poland and beyond its borders. An indispensable companion of every traveler is a camera. This was so in my case, but initially my photography was directed on documenting what I had the opportunity to see. Over time, I wanted something more than another photo from a trip, something more than another photo of one place or another. For several years I have been trying to create frames consciously, use the aura, the times of the day and the year to show my vision of the places I visit.
Today I carefully plan every trip for my photography. Both the places I visit and travel time are subjected to it. My idea for photography is to follow the light, seek and use it in the best possible way.
