Peter Hines from Salt Lake City, Utah
Peter Hines from Salt Lake City, Utah
Peter Hines brings a unique blend to his photography of technical understanding & artistic vision & considers himself as much an artist as a photographer. He compares his camera to a paintbrush with light as the medium of expression. He sees his it as an extension of his heart & the first step in a creative process which is completed & perfected in digital post-process. The result is unique photographic art that captures his vision of deep reverence inspired by the sublime glory of nature.

Our Second Place Winner was submitted by
Wojciech Kruczynski from Piastow, Poland
Wojciech Kruczynski from Piastow, Poland
I am an amateur landscape photographer from Poland, also known as Swen Stroop. My favorite places to take my pictures is Iceland, Scotland and Norway (especially the Hebrides and Lofoten Islands). I always spend my vacations in these locations, on feet with backpack or on my bicycle, struggling with rain, cold wind and ugly midges. I can't imagine something more beautiful and pleasant than this.
