Random in location and subject, street photography captures the human element, whether personal or through objects illustrating our character. Always inspired and many times providing amazing insights into our challenges and dreams, they can be bold and the subject of many of the worlds finest images.

Corner Kick by Ruber Osoria
Our Honorable Mention Winner was also submitted by Ruber Osoria from Concepción, Chile
Ruber Osoria is a Cuban photographer who now lives in southern Chile, far from his home country. It was in the Cuban countryside that he first fell in love with photography, initially taking photos of everything around him with his mobile phone. It was not until he arrived in Chile that he had the opportunity to acquire a used camera. He likes to show life on the streets, document conflicts and is not afraid to show misfortune in his photographs.
