Our First Place Winner was submitted by
Miloš Nejezchleb from Jedovnice, Czech Republic

Czech photographer Miloš Nejezchleb has only been focusing on conceptual photographic work for 3 years; however, he has already won several awards. He is the winner of Czech Press Photo contest, double absolute winner of the Nikon Calendar contest, a Silver Medalist of the Fine Art Photography Award in London and the Double Trierenberg Super Circuit Gold Medalist. The most characteristic features of his photographs are noticeably colorful elements with a clear focus on the art of photography.

Miloš often chooses current social topics, which he processes as stories using photographic series. These stories are narrated by people. He works on such series on his own and ensures the entire Art direction. He himself designs styling, looks for locations and carries out post-production.

Besides conceptual art, where he points out currently discussed topics, Miloš has 3 long-term thematic photographic cycles which document stories of real people. The most famous of them is photographic cycle "Stronger", in which Milos takes photos of people who have gone through hard times in their lives, and thanks to this experience they have become stronger personalities.

Our Second Place Winner was  submitted by
Rafael Garcia Luna from Cordoba, Spain

It was back in 2006 when my first SLR camera came into my hands. It was then that my passion for photography began. Mostly self-taught, I took several training courses, which have helped me to acquire knowledge and a workflow, which I am trying to improve every day.

Currently I combine my profession with this passion, which has become a way of life. It is the reason why I take my camera wherever I go, to try to capture those seconds and share my vision of the world through my photographs, some of them have been awarded in various national competitions.

Our Third Place Winner was submitted by
Svetlin Yosifov from Burgas, Bulgaria

Svetlin Yosifov  travel photographer from Bulgaria.

I was born in Bulgaria, and I had the privilege of living in this beautiful country all my life. My employment is in a private sports club, focused on extreme sports, which involves a lot of travelling and keeps my life dynamic and interesting. Apart from this, I love travelling abroad and do this once a year for a period of two months. I always associate these trips with diving in the unknown, meeting new people and experiencing something new. My adventurous spirit is my main drive, the inner flame, that keeps me going!

Not a professional freelance photographer.I define myself as a travel-documentary-art photographer. Almost 20 years now photography has been part of my life. My passion is catching street portraits and trying to figure out my object's character.Portrait photography is the most compelling genre for me. The impact of a single photo, comes from the emotion it reflects. My Point of interest - traditions in primal and natural places like India, Ethiopia, Kenya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba and more. I  consider good photography to be much more that a snapshot or a memory, it is something that tells a story, strong enough to influence the world we live in and raise more awareness. Throughout the years my interviews and photographs have been published in many magazines and websites.

Our Honorable Mention Winner was also submitted by
Oussama Mazouz from  Toulouse, France

Oussama Mazouz is an Algerian photographer based in Toulouse, France, born in 1987\. Passionate about architectural and nature photography and always looking for new perspectives and compositions to create a personal style, he fell in love with monochrome photography.  He realized he was wrong when he thought that black was associated with sadness and lack of life.   He discovered that the dark is the origin of all life, especially after his experience with architectural photography.   He is fascinated by the interplay between man-made structures and nature. It is decided to explore if there is a limit to the beauty that the color black can capture.
