Francesco Luongo from Livorno, Italy
I was born in 1982 and my passion for photography only started in 2018.
Self-taught, I never attended courses, but I studied and deepened photography by myself and visiting many exhibitions throughout Europe.
Little by little I focused my style on street photography: shadows, contrasts, framing, layering, juxtaposition, and in general to the people daily life, but without ever ceasing to experiment in many other genres and styles.

NO4 - rush hour By Deryk Baumgärtner
Our Second Place Winner was submitted by
Deryk Baumgärtner from Cologne, Germany
I'm a travel and landscape photographer. I'm based in Cologne / Germany and my journey into photography actually started way before I ever picked up a camera. I was actually always into art and drawing and that’s pretty much what I was focused on throughout school. As a photographer I love the challenge of trying to include just enough subjects into the frame to plant a seed of a story and then make the viewer to imagine the rest. I want my viewers to feel like they are right in the middle of the scene.
