About Think Tank Photo
Think Tank Photo is a group of designers and professional photographers focused on studying how photographers work, and developing inventive new carrying solutions to meet their needs. By focusing on “speed” and “accessibility,” we prepare photographers to Be Ready “Before The Moment,” allowing them to document those historic moments that reflect their personal visions and artistic talents. For some companies, it is only about the product. For us, it is more: It is about supporting photographers doing their job. If we can design products that help photographers travel easier, take pictures faster, and organize their gear more efficiently, then we will have accomplished something beyond the bags themselves. Think Tank”, which is defined as an idea producing organization, perfectly describes Think Tank Photo’s company culture and mission of creating inventive new carrying solutions. Think Tank has created a string of inventions since 2005 unmatched by their competitors.

We both excited and feeling privileged to have Topaz Labs honor our monthly First Place Winners with a free copy of their wonderful Topaz Adjust perfected for brilliant contrast, detail, and color adjustments! Our eyes see far more than a camera ever will. Have you ever been so spellbound by something you see that you can hardly take your eyes off it? Maybe it’s a snow-capped mountain, an urban cityscape or a sunset over the ocean. Whatever it is, you are so fascinated by its grandeur, nuances and vibrance. Without diverting your gaze, you raise your camera and press the shutter so you can hang onto this moment forever. But then ... your excitement fades as you realize the digital version pales in comparison to the real thing. If only there was a way to make the image fully reflect your photographic vision in brilliant contrast, depth, and color. Watch your images come to life with dramatic contrast, incredible detail and vivid color. Unlike our eyes, a camera lens can't compensate for all the tonal values we see right in front of us. If you shoot something bright, you’ll lose all the details in the shadows, if you shoot something dark, the highlights will be blown out. You can try to correct contrast, details, and vibrancy yourself, but it’s difficult to make images pop like you want. Thankfully, with Topaz Adjust you can give your images the soul and character you envisioned in the field! Our free photography contest recommendation of the day! Don’t miss out on the chance to win the $1,000 CASH prize we’ll give the Grand Prize photo selection in this year’s contest! Plus, all the winners’ photos from every category along with the Grand Prize winner will appear in an upcoming issue of Horticulture magazine. Special thanks goes to Lee Valley Tools for sponsoring this.

Our free photography contest recommendation of the day! The works and the days. Twenty one years revealing the world of work. The theme of the photographs should focus on human beings (regardless of age, sex, or race) carrying out some form of work or occupation. Additionally, pictures could show the human presence through objects or materials; but the jury will decide on the appropriateness of these concepts. In essence our proposal seeks to focus the gaze of the photographers towards humans in their role as fundamental protagonist of the productive process.
