I began my passion for this Noble Art with film photography, and after completing my studies in Artistic Photography, my curiosity to learn more has led me to continue my education at important International Schools of Photography and with some of the great Masters of Landscape and Portrait Photography.
My artistic creativity develops mainly within Landscape Photography, in all its variations (Twilight, Night, etc.), as well as in Travel, Documentary, and Portrait Photography.
I have been very fortunate, as photography has taught me to appreciate the beauty of the world, to take a step forward in order to see and capture unique and unrepeatable moments, and thanks to it, I have learned how to truly look.

Jeroen Lagerwerf - landscape photographer based in the Netherlands.
I began my photography journey in 2019, inspired by a night spent under the Milky Way. Driven to capture the awe of that experience, I dedicated myself to mastering the art of astrophotography. Over time, I also developed a passion for forest photography but my portfolio has since evolved to include the dramatic beauty of mountain landscapes, reflecting my deepening connection with nature. Above all, I feel a strong responsibility for the state of nature and value silence and solitude as a way to deeply connect with the landscape.
In my work I strive to capture mood and emotion. I’ve always felt a deep connection to the night sky and love mystery and adventurous landscapes. By combining technical expertise in the field with my artistic vision in post-processing, my goal is to distill the emotion and energy of a landscape into an immersive frame.
