Contest OverviewPhotography is all about “timing”. It might not be always possible to have your finger tip on click button while you eye witness a great moment happening and therefore you miss the great opportunity. Thus “Anticipate the Moment” 

Have you as a photographer been able to sense the possible occurrence of a moment? Have you been able to foresee a moment happening just a moment ahead and grab your camera just in the nick of time? We bring you an opportunity to flaunt that six sense talent. 

Inviting Photographers to submit captures of any specific, extraordinary moment. Submit a swan flying or a bride bursting in hysteric laughter, an old couple passing by a young one or birdie caught swimming, anything you find worth a story and a piece of perfect timing. 

Because sometimes, more than the picture sharpness, composition and contrast, it’s the story of the capture that matters!! 

Prizes

• The winner gets a Cash prize (or e-voucher) of Rs 5,000 along with his winning photograph on the cover page of Tumbhi’s eBook
• Top 25 entries make it to Tumbhi’s photography eBook with a cash prize (or e-voucher) of Rs 500 each along with e-certificates of appreciation

Rules: 
The theme can be anything. The photo may be black and white or color. Photos must be at least 8”x10” no larger than 11”x14”. We cannot accept slides. Digital photos are permitted, but must be sized correctly – preferably high resolution. You can enter your photos online HERE. If a digital photo is selected we would request the electronic high resolution digital file. Limit of two photos per person, please. Photos may be reproduced for the Tri M Calendar as color, duo-tone, or black and white.

Entry Deadline 
September 30th, 2015. Please include your Name, Address, Phone Number and Email Address.

Prizes: 
$1000.00 dollars in prizes will be given away! If your photo appears on a monthly page you will receive $75.00. If your photo appears on the cover, you will receive $100.00. Photos and prizes may be claimed after the open house in November. Photos must be picked up by December 31st or they will be discarded.

Judging: 
The photos will be judged by a panel of individuals yet to be named. Judging will take place in early October. The Calendar will be unveiled in November.

MISSION
Bitcoin lacks photos - most main-stream articles reuse the same images of physical coins. We want to change this with your help, and give back to the community with bit4coin's Bitcoin Photo Contest.

Think about what open spaces mean to you: freedom – views – enjoyment – coast – family – play. In fact, anything you love or which inspires you – even great historical photographs from grandfather’s collection!

Prizes

We will award individual prizes in all categories as well as a prize to the overall winner. We will also award prizes for highly commended submissions. Individual prizes will be up to £100 in value.

On September 25, 2015, 193 world leaders will commit to 17 Global Goals to achieve 3 extraordinary things in the next 15 years: End extreme poverty. Fight inequality & injustice. Fix climate change. The #GlobalGoals could get these things done in all countries. For all people.

The Global Goals campaign invites artists, designers and photographers from around the world to create artwork inspired by one of the 17 Global Goals for sustainable development. Artists should read about each goal below, get inspired by the accompanying graphics and interpret them through an original and innovative piece of artwork.

The simple but mighty ambition of this project is to share the global goals with 7 billion people in 7 days, from September 25 - October 2, 2015. During this week, there will be a concert in Central Park in New York with headliners including Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Pearl Jam and Chris Martin and a global media campaign that highlights the importance of this historic moment.

A minimum of 25 pieces of work will be selected to be showcased on GlobalGoals.org and their social channels. One Selected Artist will also receive $1,500 along with a mentoring session with world-renowned filmmaker Richard Curtis. 6 Highly Commended Artists will also receive $500 each and 2 Popular Choice Artists will receive $250 each.



HOW TO SUBMIT
Artists can submit up to 10 images if they choose. Each image must capture a Global Goal, and must include their artist name or signature within each piece of artwork or photography submitted.


THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY
One Selected Artist, as selected by Project Everyone and their panel of judges, will receive:

• A 60 minute mentoring session with Richard Curtis and Jakob Trollbäck
  
• Exposure for their artwork across the GlobalGoals.org and their social channels
• Exposure for their artwork within a feature on GOOD Magazine
• $1,500
  

Six Highly Commended Artists will receive:

• Exposure for their artwork across the GlobalGoals.org and their social channels
• Exposure for their artwork within a feature on GOOD Magazine
• $500

We’d love to see pictures of Land Rovers in locations stretching from rural UK, through to vehicles in a foreign urban environment - use your imagination. 

Winning entries will all feature in the new 2016 calendar and each one picked will win a prize.

So get out there with your Land Rover and camera - happy snapping and good luck.
