 OUR FREE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST RECOMMENDATION OF THE DAY! The Muhammad Ali Center is honored to announce the sixth annual “Shining a Light” International Photography Contest.
The goal of this year's competition is to reveal, but not exploit, women who have or currently live homeless and to educate our community about the issues, realities, and struggles they endure. The contest host will produce a documentary-style exhibition from 25 to 35 finalist photographs, which will be exhibited at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky beginning March 8, 2019. CONTEST THEME "Shining a Light: (The) Many Faces of Homeless Women" Informed by the National Coalition of the Homeless, the photographic submissions are asked to depict individuals or organizations battling one or more of the following issues as they pertain to homeless women:
